In 2015, with the experience acquired over more than 16 years with a renowned professional in the field of ancient books, I decided to open my atelier of restoration of old books in Châteauroux, France.
My work is mainly focused on the restoration of books from the XIV to the XVIII century, as well as the production of pastiches (identical bindings).
I am fortunate to collaborate with many booksellers specialized in the ancient book, who are satisfied with the quality of my work, have given me their trust.
However, I do not forget bibliophiles and individuals who are also part of my clientele and with whom I also enjoy working.
The preservation and maintenance of the works in their original state requires historical and artistic knowledge as well as a perfect mastery of the centuries-old techniques of binding.
This job can not be summed up in a few lines. However, respect for books, patience and thoroughness are the hallmarks of this captivating profession, which over time has become a passion.
